GE Life Systems Director is Gary Elkins a former professional footballer. Gary played for Fulham, Wimbledon and Swindon Town making over 100 appearances in the Premier League and gaining 11 England Youth Caps. Since retiring from football Gary has trained to be a Physical Education Instructor gaining the Level 4 Certificate In Further Education Teaching. He is also a qualified Instructor in First Aid, Defibrillation and Manual Handling and has been teaching students/candidates for 10 years.

During his 18 year career in football he has witnessed a lot of incidents on and off the field of play where people have needed emergency life saving treatment. He works closely with Steve Allen who is currently Assistant Manager and Head of the Medical Team at Portsmouth FC (with 25 years experience as a Premier League Physiotherapist) and also he has the support of Dave Galley who is Sunderland FC and England U21 Physiotherapist (former club Liverpool FC).
